THE BLESSINGS...excellent band ala Rolling Stones

Check this band out....they remind me of Rolling Stones meets Dowgtown Balladeers...and throw in some Dogs DAmour.

before they were the Blessings (i.e. before Jeremy moved to the west coast) they were called The Slimmer Twins releasing a cd called Lack of Luxury. Ronnie Younkins, from Kix, was the guitarist in the Slimmer Twins. And even before the Slimmer Twins they were known as Jeremy and the Suicides releasing an EP called Subway to Success. Subway to Success is their finest moment in my honest opinion. I saw them (Jeremy's band) do a show with Vamp (Drew's Vamp) at a club around here oh some 10 years ago i think.

FYI, J from the Vampire Love Dolls co-wrote and sang backup on a tune from Subway to Success.
